Final report of the CCS-Africa workshops
UNFCCC
The two workshops are motivated by the UNFCC decision on "Further guidance relating to the CDM" at COP/MOP2 (Nairobi 2006) which in article 20, states:
“Encourages Parties, intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations and others to organize global and regional workshops to enhance capacity-building on carbon dioxide capture and storage technologies and their applications and to share information on these workshops broadly”. As mandated by Article 21, IGOs and NGOs were invited to submit their views on carbon dioxide capture and storage as clean development mechanism project activities until May 31st, 2007. The submissions can can be downloaded here: http://unfccc.int/parties_and_observers/ngo/items/3689.php
